Responsibilities

  • Support strategic business decisions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and other investments, through financial analysis, impact assessments, valuation support, and coordination of financial deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, finance teams, technical accounting, and external advisors to develop financial projections, perform due diligence, and support transaction execution activities.
  • Assist with the financial integration of acquired companies, including system integration, financial reporting alignment, control implementation, and policy compliance.
  • Partner with equity portfolio businesses to monitor financial performance, assess financial health, and support valuation reporting activities.
  • Manage business development department accounting activities, including accruals, budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial reporting.
  • Maintain and manage investor relations financial models, including analyst consensus modeling, variance analysis, and reporting of key insights to senior leadership.
  • Conduct financial and market analyses related to valuation, shareholder ownership, stock performance, analyst estimates, peer benchmarking, and other investor-focused metrics.
  • Develop presentations, earnings materials, investor relations collateral, board meeting materials, and supporting financial analyses for strategic communications.
  • Prepare, review, and support the production of earnings releases, investor communications, SEC-related materials, and other investor relations publications.
  • Retrieve and maintain financial data from enterprise financial systems to support consistent reporting across investor relations and corporate functions.

Position Overview

You will serve as a key member of both the Strategy and Investor Relations teams, supporting Polaris' growth initiatives through business development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic investment activities. In this role, you will partner across finance, accounting, business functions, and external advisors to deliver financial analysis, due diligence, valuation assessments, and integration support for strategic transactions. You will also support investor relations activities by developing financial models, analyzing market and shareholder data, and preparing earnings and investor communications. Success in this role requires strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders and senior leaders. Key Responsibilities

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $80,000 to $111,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
