SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for coordinating and monitoring budgets, re-forecasting, and conducting complex analysis of operating expenses. Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for planning and control. Performs analysis to determine current and future financial performance. This role requires a thorough understanding of financial principles.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  2. Prepare and review complex reports and analyses to achieve financial objectives.
  3. Analyze data trends on operational budget spend to meet Key Performance Indicators.
  4. Build and deploy financial models to forecast results.
  5. Identify cost savings opportunities through analysis.
  6. Create operating expense reforecasts.
  7. Coordinate operating expense variance analysis and reporting.
  8. Review financial statements monthly and identify trends.
  9. Collaborate with business partners to submit monthly accruals.
  10. Analyze, educate, and recommend changes to accounting operations policies and procedures.
  11. Drive process improvements and implement best practices in forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting; automate processes where applicable.
  12. Partner with functional leaders to identify and drive cost savings across the business.
  13. Perform other duties as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • Effective prioritization and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Quickly identify business problems and opportunities.
  • Clear and straightforward communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to communicate with all management levels and personnel.
  • Knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of advanced accounting theories and procedures.
  • Understanding of operating and capital financial statements.
Education

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Related Work Experience

5+ years in Business Planning/Financial Analysis.

The position offers a comprehensive pay and benefits package, with a base salary generally between $81,800.00 and $105,000.00. Actual compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Some positions may also be eligible for additional incentives such as bonuses.
