Job summary

Amazon Music Finance is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for Creator Services in Culver City, CA. You will own and refine the content valuation model, build business models and pricing strategies, and drive forecasting with senior leadership input.

You will manage end-to-end projects involving data gathering, modeling, and communicating insights, while identifying actions to reduce negative variances and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of automation and analysis experience.
• 3+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
• 3+ years in tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years identifying and executing opportunities to automate or simplify finance tools.

Sr. Financial Analyst, Creator Services, Amazon Music Finance

Amazon's Creator Services organization leads creator programs that span media, commerce, and culture. The Creator Services team includes creator development team Creator Partnerships, creator content studio Wondery, and physical production facilities Studio126. We connect creators and Amazon's diverse businesses, helping bring big ideas to life across Wondery, Amazon Music, Twitch, Audible, Amazon Games, and beyond.

Key job responsibilities

• Own, refine, and develop key areas of Creator Services's content valuation model
• Work with the business team to build business models, pricing strategies, and value propositions and drive near‑term and long‑term forecasting
• Collaborate with and present to the senior leadership team on a regular basis
• Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
• Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, or CPA
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
