Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with top-tier creators and talent representation, in partnership with cross-Amazon teams.
  • Manage complex deal structures including understanding and navigating contractual commitments and crafting partnership agreement renewals
  • Define and evolve an operating model for best-in-class creator partner relations
  • Collaborate with advertising sales partners to maximize sponsor-derived revenue opportunities
  • Champion creator needs to internal teams and work with creator teams to ensure execution of advertiser commitments exceeds expectations
  • Collaborate on strategic creator account management, engaging with internal teams to design programs/processes to drive the right outcomes with partners.
  • Use data to influence decisions, prioritize workloads, and build compelling business cases
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically - defining long-term partner strategies while managing day-to-day partner relationships and programmatic requirements
  • Experience onboarding and scaling new partners - including vetting, assessing capabilities, and building accelerated training/integration processes
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration - working across sales, legal, finance, product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver partner outcomes

Creator Services is looking for a Creator Partnerships leader to serve as the key executive working frontline with our largest creators and with key cross‑functional internal stakeholders to drive value for the creators and Amazon.

As the face of the business to these partners, this individual must be a high‑trust leader who can creatively solve problems with great business acumen. In parallel, this individual must be able to demonstrate backbone, show resilience in high‑pressure situations, and have experience working on eight figure (or higher) creator relationships. This individual must be entrepreneurial and have the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, while managing competing deadlines. No ask is too small, and no vision is too big - in support of our creator partners.

Key job responsibilities

About The Team

Creator Services is making Amazon the best home for talent. Working across Amazon Global Media & Entertainment, Creator Services leads key partnerships with major music artists, athletes, podcasters, authors, streamers, and more. We are looking for a Creator Partnerships executive to collaborate with creators to build strategic relationships that span Amazon's broad range of businesses. This team operates at the intersection of content, commerce, and culture - managing partnerships that can only happen at Amazon's scale.

Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
  • Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
  • Experience with end‑to‑end ownership of major project deliverables
  • Experience working in the music industry or other related digital content acquisition roles
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
  • Experience managing a large number of account relationships and deals simultaneously, ideally related to media/entertainment
  • 10+ years professional experience managing relationships with top‑tier creators and talent representation, cross functionally with internal teams
  • 8+ years of experience championing creator needs to internal teams, and creating systems for handling high‑profile concepts, feedback, and support
  • 7+ years of internal stakeholder management including collaborations on strategic creator account management and engaging with internal teams to design programs/processes to drive the right outcomes with partners
  • Proven professional experience building data focused creator success reporting trackers and representing business results to leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with brand client measurements, goals and return on investment requirements
  • Experience in movies & TV distribution/licensing
  • Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
  • Experience working in the music industry or other related digital content acquisition roles
  • Proven professional experience defining and evolving an operating model for best‑in‑class creator partner relations, ranging from world‑renowned superstars through emerging creators
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast‑paced environment under time constraints with competing priorities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
