Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA a plus.
• 3–5 years of financial analysis experience demonstrated and progressive.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating cross functionally to develop the annual budget, including detailed forecasts of expense items and revenue drivers
• Developing and owning portions of the monthly rolling plan, identifying, and reporting key trends to upper management regularly for key decision making and quarterly guidance
• Modeling, analyzing, and reporting on new strategic initiatives to inform the business of challenges and opportunities
• Working with key business partners to review, forecast and analyze various P&L line items across
• Supporting the development, monitoring, and reporting of operational metrics and KPIs
• Ad-hoc reporting and analyses as requested by senior leadership

Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis

BJ's Wholesale Club is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team. A position within this team is exciting and fast paced because of the holistic exposure across the organization. The candidate here in this role has the potential to make significant impact and become a trusted resource for the senior leadership team. An individual who enjoys working individually as well as on a team, and who is comfortable partnering and communicating with all levels of the business to make sound recommendations will be a great fit for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating cross functionally to develop the annual budget, including detailed forecasts of expense items and revenue drivers
• Developing and owning portions of the monthly rolling plan, identifying, and reporting key trends to upper management regularly for key decision making and quarterly guidance

Competencies Required

• Advanced technical aptitude (Excel, SAP, or other ERP systems)
• Exposure to Tableau and Alteryx a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA a plus
• Demonstrable and progressive financial analysis experience (3-5 years)

Hybrid Role

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

Compensation

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $86,000.00 - $109,500.00
