Job summary

Nivel is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Jacksonville, FL. This role partners with the CTO/COO to drive budgeting, reporting, and strategic initiatives, delivering insights to optimize resource allocation across facilities.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in finance, strong analytics, and experience translating complex data into actionable guidance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ERP and manufacturing knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years in finance or accounting with analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced MS skills; SQL proficiency; AX ERP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; manufacturing and distribution knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance team in Reporting, Forecast and Budgeting cycles.
• Lead monthly ad-hoc reviews with business partners and explain variances.
• Manage weekly and monthly manufacturing labor and overhead costs; analyze COGS.
• Build procurement savings trackers to validate initiatives.
• Prepare weekly and monthly KPIs and metrics on labor productivity.
• Calculate and update manufacturing labor and overhead rates monthly; ERP execution.
• Collaborate with Accounting to improve coding procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Description

The Senior Financial Analyst role encompasses a broad spectrum of financial responsibilities, including budgeting, strategic initiatives, and delivering insightful reporting against our company’s financial goals. As an integral business partner to the CTO and the COO the senior financial analyst will provide vital operation support, ensure optimal allocation of resources across manufacturing and distribution facilities. Candidate’s expertise will be instrumental in developing processes, as well as crafting financial reports that facilitate tracking expenditures and monitoring business performance.

Duties

• Partner with finance team in Reporting, Forecast and Budgeting cycles.
• Prepare and lead monthly ad-hoc reviews with business partners by providing insights and clear understanding of variances.
• Manage weekly and monthly manufacturing labor and Overhead costs including reporting and analysis of COGS.

• Prepare weekly and monthly relevant KPI's and Metrics on labor productivity.
