Job summary

NOV Rig Technologies seeks a Finance professional to lead FP&A activities in a high‑growth oilfield services environment. You will drive rolling forecasts, budgets, and KPI reporting, partnering with operations across locations. Strong BI skills and GAAP knowledge are essential to optimize margins and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities cover revenue recognition, SOX controls, audits, and process improvements, with advanced Excel and BI tool proficiency required. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Business Intelligence competency (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling techniques. Power Query, Alteryx, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, SQL a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Hyperion Financial Management and/or Oracle experience a plus.
  • CMA, MBA, CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly financial analysis, including variance and gross margin reviews.
  • Coordination and oversight for accurate revenue recognition through POC.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in finance and operations.
  • Assisting with internal and external annual audits.
  • Ensure integrity of internal controls in compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Developing systems and processes to report KPIs to operations/management to help accomplish business strategies
  • Analysis and preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgets dealing with multiple lines of business and locations.
  • Monthly financial analysis, including but not limited to, actual to forecast variance and trend variances inclusive of gross margin review of third-party and IC sales, as well as operating margin review including other costs of sales.
  • Coordination and oversight responsibility for accurate revenue recognition through POC.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in finance and operations organizations.
  • Assisting with both internal and external annual audits.
  • Ensure integrity of internal controls in compliance with SOX requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience preferred
  • Business Intelligence competency (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau)
