Job summary

TIAA Trust, N.A. is seeking a qualified accounting professional to assist with GAAP financial statements, footnote disclosures, and regulatory reporting for OCC Call Reports. The role supports day-to-day accounting for TIAA Trust, N.A.

and TIAA Wealth Investment Management (WIM). The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience (5+ preferred), a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, CPA or pursuing licensure, and proficiency with PeopleSoft, Workiva, and Essbase.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Hands-on experience in financial statements preparation, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures for audit and regulatory needs.
  • File and manage quarterly Call Reports with OCC and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting.
  • Complete month-end close activities and account reconciliations; respond to audits, compliance, and tax requests.
  • Collaborate with Trust Operations, Trust Administration, Vendor Management, and BFOs.
  • Identify inefficiencies and build automated, scalable solutions; manage special projects as required.
