Job summary

nVent Blaine, GA seeks a Finance Partner to develop financial plans, monitor performance, and analyze variances for the Blaine manufacturing site. You will drive end-to-end operating plans, including process flow, timelines, scenario loading, and consolidation.

Responsibilities include standard cost analysis, quarterly forecasts, monthly close, and management reporting. Strong US GAAP/IAS knowledge and cross-level communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 4+ years of FP&A, manufacturing or corporate finance experience.
• Strong communication with personnel at all levels and relationship-building.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau and OneStream XF or similar systems.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills with US GAAP and IAS knowledge.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Serve as the Finance Partner for the Blaine manufacturing site to develop financial plans, monitor performance against those plans, and analyze variances.
• Involved in the end-to-end development of annual operating plans for manufacturing site including process flow, time line, scenario loading and financial consolidation.
• Supports standard cost summary / inputs and cost revaluation analysis.
• Assist with the quarterly forecast processes with an emphasis on developing high quality forecasts with a detailed understanding of potential risks and opportunities, including maintaining a working forecasting model.
• Tracks and analyzes performance against the financial plan, forecast and prior year. Works to identify root cause for shortfalls and partner with business on countermeasures.
• Supports data collection and consolidation required to understand manufacturing variances and costs for manufacturing site.
• Supports the monthly close process and analyzes results to report to business partners.
• Maintains a standard reporting package to communicate results to management and the leadership team. Summarizes key conclusions and recommends opportunities for improvement where appropriate.
• Develops the tools to support analyzing the results and performance.
• Find opportunities for improving financial processes and apply Lean tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of those processes.
• Owns financial overview to Capital investments, indirect purchases and operating expenses across the function.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Manufacturing or Corporate Finance required.
• Ability to communicate and deal effectively with personnel at all organizational levels and establish sound relationships with co-workers, executives and field finance personnel.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau and OneStream XF or similar financial reporting systems.
• Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for work outcomes.
• Must be flexible, organized and able to work under time constraints and deadlines.
• Applies good analytical and problem-solving skills to complex financial scenarios using good judgment, fact-based reasoning, and knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS).

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$76,000.00 - $141,100.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
