Vaco is seeking a strongSr. Financial/Cost Analyst in South Orange County with hybrid work options. You will interact with Sr.

Management to provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations for key decisions, building models in Excel and analyzing manufacturing costs. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, internal financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and month-end close tasks. Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing cost analysis and budgeting.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivots, and formulas.
• Experience with cost of goods sold, BOM, WIP, and finished goods.
• Manufacturing industry background required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare detailed budget schedules including operating expense, capital expenditures, sales, margin, profitability and headcount.
• Report KPI, dashboard metrics, and manage ad hoc projects.
• Perform month-end adjustments for Sales, COGS, labor, materials, and overhead allocations.
• Conduct physical inventory reconciliations and related analyses.

Job description

Seeking strong Sr. Financial/Cost Analyst, located in South Orange County and Hybrid.

• This position will have high-level exposure and be expected to interact with Sr. Management to provide strategic analysis and advice for key decisions.
• Financial modeling with Microsoft Excel to include V-look ups, pivot tables, and formulas.
• Analyze manufacturing operations, utilization, BOM, standard costs, unit cost variance, cost of goods sold, WIP and finished goods.
• Responsible for developing the annual budget, periodic forecasting, internal & financial reporting, prepare detailed budget schedules including operating expense, capital expenditures, sales, margin, profitability, headcount, etc.
• Position will also report key performance indicators (KPI), dashboard metrics, and ad hoc projects.
• Physical Inventory reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
• Miscellaneous month end adjusting journals - Sales, COGS, labor, materials, & overhead allocations.
• Salary Range 100-110k base salary, plus 10% bonus target and superior benefits.
