Job summary

Bose Corporation, a leader in audio technology, seeks a Senior Finance Manager, Global Supply Chain FP&A. You will own FP&A for the global supply chain, partner with leadership, and develop a small analytics team.

This hybrid role may be based in the Atlanta, GA; Troy, MI; or Framingham, MA offices, and emphasizes strategic financial planning, performance management, and actionable business insights for Bose’s supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A for the Global Supply Chain, including the consolidated Supply Chain P&L, forecasts, annual plan, long-range planning, and reporting.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain leadership, providing financial perspective and challenge across Procurement, Manufacturing Ops & Quality, Logistics & Transportation, Supply Planning, and Customer Service.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of Financial Analysts, setting priorities and providing ongoing feedback and development.
• Develop driver-based forecasts and financial plans for major SC cost components: material/product costs, COGS, PPV, manufacturing/conversion, logistics, inventory impacts, tooling, and OPEX.
• Lead monthly and quarterly SC performance reviews, linking financial results with operational drivers and communicating trends, risks, opportunities, and actions to senior Finance and SC leaders.
• Develop an integrated view of SC performance across Bose business units, partnering with BU FP&A teams to reflect assumptions, costs, risks, opportunities, and productivity initiatives in forecasts.
• Partner with Supply Chain leaders to evaluate sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, manufacturing and capacity decisions, logistics network changes, inventory and service decisions, and productivity initiatives.
• Establish and monitor financial and operational KPIs that provide visibility into SC performance and trade-offs among cost, inventory, service, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead financial analysis and governance of cost savings and productivity initiatives, establishing baselines, validating benefits, and tracking impact.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for significant SC initiatives and investments, translating options into financial implications and recommendations for leadership.
• Lead SC FP&A responsibilities for month-end and quarter-end performance, coordinating with Accounting and operational Finance to review accruals and variances and accurately reflect SC performance.

As part of Bose's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, the Senior Finance Manager, Global Supply Chain FP&A will provide financial leadership and decision support across Bose's global Supply Chain organization and business units. The role partners across Procurement, Manufacturing Operations & Quality, Logistics & Transportation, Supply Planning, and Customer Service to connect operational decisions and performance to their financial impact.

In this role, you will own FP&A for Global Supply Chain across Bose's business units, including the consolidated Supply Chain P&L, planning, forecasting, performance management, and decision support. You will serve as a senior finance partner to Supply Chain leadership and lead and develop a small team of Financial Analysts, ensuring high-quality insights and support across the organization.

You will bring together financial and operational perspectives to identify performance drivers, challenge assumptions, and translate complex information into clear recommendations and actions. • Own FP&A for the Global Supply Chain organization, including the consolidated Supply Chain P&L, forecasts, annual operating plan, long-range planning, management reporting, and financial performance across Bose business units.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Global Supply Chain leadership, providing financial perspective and constructive challenge across Procurement, Manufacturing Operations & Quality, Logistics & Transportation, Supply Planning, and Customer Service.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of Financial Analysts. Set clear priorities and expectations, provide ongoing feedback and development, and build team capabilities in financial analysis, business partnership, financial storytelling, and decision support.
• Lead the development of driver-based forecasts and financial plans across major Supply Chain cost components, including material and product costs, COGS, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), manufacturing and conversion costs, logistics and transportation, inventory-related impacts, program tooling, and functional operating expenses.
• Lead monthly and quarterly Supply Chain performance reviews, connecting financial results with operational drivers and clearly communicating performance, trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to senior Finance and Supply Chain leaders.
• Develop an integrated view of Supply Chain performance across Bose business units, partnering with business-unit FP&A teams to ensure Supply Chain assumptions, costs, risks, opportunities, and productivity initiatives are appropriately reflected in business forecasts and financial plans.
• Partner with Supply Chain leaders to evaluate strategic and operational decisions, including sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, manufacturing and capacity decisions, logistics network changes, inventory and supply decisions, service strategies, and cost and productivity initiatives.
• Establish and monitor financial and operational KPIs that provide visibility into the drivers of Supply Chain performance and enable leaders to understand trade-offs among cost, inventory, service, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Lead financial analysis and governance of cost savings and productivity initiatives, partnering with Supply Chain teams to establish financial baselines, validate benefits, assess timing and risks, and track realized financial impact.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for significant Supply Chain initiatives and investments, translating operational alternatives into clear financial implications and recommendations for leadership.
• Lead Supply Chain FP&A responsibilities associated with month-end and quarter-end performance, partnering with Accounting and operational Finance teams to understand results, review significant accruals and variances, and ensure accurate representation of Supply Chain performance.
