Job summary

Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services is seeking a Senior Finance and Policy Analyst to lead the Central Office Budget team and oversee a $200 million+ budget. The role provides fiscal analysis on budget development, legislation, and policy options while managing cost allocation plans with Medicaid and fostering agency operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of planning, budgeting, financial management, and program evaluation principles.
• Experience conducting planning, budgeting, evaluation, and research.
• Knowledge of budgeting programs and financial/automated systems.
• Ability to conduct policy, issue, and systems analyses and develop creative recommendations.
• Ability to interpret and project fiscal and programmatic data.
• Ability to communicate effectively and solve complex problems for diverse audiences.
