What your day will look like as a Sr Field Service Technician

The Sr Field Service Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our Flygt Submersible Pumps and their electrical and mechanical components at various customer sites in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. Equipment-specific training will be provided, but applicants with experience working with industrial or commercial mechanical and electrical equipment, including familiarity with PLCs, are encouraged to apply.

This position has day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation, including occasional afternoons/weekends.

Position Requirements for Sr. Field Service Technicians

• Service and repair knowledge of electrical equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electric controls and industrial equipment
• Experience with variable frequency drives and PLC controls (preferred)
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to read electrical wiring schematics and mechanical drawings
• Understanding of single and three-phase electrical systems and DC systems
• Knowledge of AC/DC components and testing skills
• Ability to troubleshoot control panels
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Experience with electrical submersible equipment (a plus)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more daily travel—home daily. Occasional overnight travel required.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00
