Wendy's is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician responsible for maintaining restaurant equipment and property. This role includes executing reactive and preventative maintenance, participating in staff training, and ensuring safety compliance. Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma, EPA certifications, and significant hands-on repair experience.
The Senior Facilities Technician will perform daily repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and property in Wendy’s restaurants. Ensures timely and accurate completion of scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM), while providing ongoing training on equipment operation and PM training for restaurant management and training for new Facilities Technicians. Work environment requires on call rotations, may require overtime, and may require working in extreme weather conditions.
ResponsibilitiesReactive Maintenance
Performs demand repairs on restaurant equipment and property as identified through work orders entered into MyTech-Connect
Proactively creates and completes work orders for critical issues found during restaurant visits not entered by operations
Preventative Maintenance
Performs preventative maintenance service as outlined in PM work orders
Creates work orders for needed repairs identified during PM
Proper utilization of MyTech-Connect system
Ensures work orders are completed in the time frame identified by the priority codes assigned to the work orders by organizing and planning daily work load
Maintains accurate parts and company owned tool inventories
Ensures warranty process for company restaurants is followed
Reports the condition of equipment and property as well as maintenance status to assist
with capital planning
Monitors and oversees outside contract work in restaurants, and assures proper coordination and communication between all concerned parties
Personal Development
Participates in Individual Development Planning process
Completes required safety training to comply with company guidelines
Stays current on industry standards
Assists with supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the facilities Manager/Supervisor as requested
The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
