FITS LLC is seeking an engineer for engineering services in the Facilities area. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industries, with bilingual Spanish and English abilities.

Day shift with potential for other shifts and travel to project sites is expected. You will contribute to designing and maintaining clean rooms, chiller and compressed air plants, and oversee facility improvements while coordinating with AE

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and four years of relevant experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Day shift; availability for other shifts as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants.
• Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities
• Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility
• Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings
• Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
• Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs
• Inspects or directs the inspection of construction, installation progress, and commissioning to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Travel to other sites 5-10% depending on project needs.

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s degree inEngineering (Mechanical,Electrical or Building Automation Systems) & four (4) years of relevant experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English).
• Shift: Day shift(must be available other shifts if needed).
• Experience in:
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
  • Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control
  • Tridium/Niagara or Siemens BAS experience
  • Facility Commissioning experience
