Job summary

FITS LLC in Kentucky seeks an Engineering Support professional to facilitate Capital Projects in medical devices and pharmaceutical settings. You will assist engineering and manufacturing, prepare protocols, and contribute to project cost estimates and schedules.

The role emphasizes bilingual communication, technical writing, coordination across disciplines, and ensuring regulatory compliance while meeting timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and two years of relevant experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bilingual Spanish & English.
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
  • Experience in project schedule & budgeting, project coordination, process optimization, technical writing and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to both the Engineering and Manufacturing departments.
  • Utilize technical writing skills for the creation and revision of protocols and reports.
  • Oversee and assist Engineers with their assigned projects.
  • Support the execution activities of capital projects.
  • Coordinate projects with manufacturing operations and support areas to enable smooth project implementation.
  • Coordinate facility construction and equipment installation activities for projects.
  • Support the overall construction design aspects related to facility and equipment projects.
  • Routinely audit the operational performance and regulatory compliance of a moderate number of equipment items or systems of significant complexity.
  • Collaborate extensively with research, manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance, and validation departments.
  • Work under the direct supervision of project managers to complete design, engineering, and construction projects within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Generate rudimentary project cost estimates and schedules.
  • Analyze KPIs and utilize data-driven methodologies to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Under general supervision, evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, basic principles, and procedures.
