To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Facilities Engineer located in Memphis, TN.
Reporting to the Sr Facilities & MRO Manager, the Sr Facilities Engineer applies engineering principles to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.
Responsibilities
- Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
- Research engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.
- Define feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors.
- Provide technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long-range plant and product engineering planning.
- Compile and research facilities data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
- Study engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in the industry.
- Use computer-aided engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Guide projects and project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 6+ years of related experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: clean rooms, Walk-in Coolers & Freezers, RO/DI Water systems, Waste Neutralization, Compressed gas distribution systems, vacuum systems, Process chillers and non-clean utilities.
- Manufacturing plant construction in a cGMP industry.
- Facilities Engineering construction activity at MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Process) disciplines.
- Fault/Root Cause Analysis and Review (FRACAS).
- Utilities (steam, cooling media, heating media, water systems, compressed air).
