B&B Concrete in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to pursue and plan water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will develop accurate estimates and collaborate with operations and project management from bid through project handoff.

The role requires evaluating scope, constructability, risk, and cost beyond takeoffs, with a focus on self-performed work and disciplined cost analysis.

Formación

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, piping, and related infrastructure.

• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals and ensure scope coverage.
• Assess phasing, logistics, constructability, sequencing, and risk.
• Create preliminary schedules to support estimating efforts.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving ideas.
• Participate in bid reviews with operations and project management.
• Lead estimating-to-project-hand-off and support subcontractor buyout.

You'll play a key role in pursuing and planning water and wastewater infrastructure projects, developing accurate, competitive estimates and partnering closely with operations and project management from bid through project handoff.

We're looking for someone who understands water/wastewater construction and self-performed work and can evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost—not just perform takeoffs.

What You'll Do:

• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience estimating water and/or wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete and/or heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and productivity.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong quantity takeoff, cost analysis, and scope review skills.
• Experience with HCSS, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
