Job summary

Job Juncture in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to support large-scale EPC and design-build projects, with emphasis on piping and mechanical systems. This role requires deep knowledge of industrial construction methods, cost controls, and labor productivity.

You will develop detailed estimates, perform takeoffs, review drawings, and collaborate across project teams to ensure accurate pricing and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or 10+ years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of estimating experience in industrial construction, with emphasis on mechanical/piping.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction methods and cost drivers.
• Advanced proficiency with Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, civil drawings, and structural plans.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel for pre-bid site visits (minimal travel).

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to join our team in Houston, TX to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors.

The Senior Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for EPC and design-build projects. This position requires a deep understanding of industrial construction methods, material takeoffs, labor productivity, and cost controls.

What You'll Do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes, with primary emphasis on piping and mechanical systems
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing using Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Excel
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate and complete estimates
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to validate assumptions and execution strategies
