  • Supervises and provides development of subordinates through mentoring, formal training and exposure to diverse work experiences.
  • Conduct project site visits and review cost/production reports to compare actual cost and plan to estimate and conduct special studies to develop and establish standard cost data.
  • Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, required contents of estimate and critical tasks to complete the project. Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, materials, etc. Calculate statistical data necessary for bid: quantity take-offs, materials, labor, equipment, and specialty items.
What You’ll Need
  • Four-year construction or engineering degree with five to seven years of experience as an Estimator or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience in mathematics including algebra and geometry; or equivalent training and/or experience; with an emphasis in Renewable Construction – focusing on Solar, Wind and BESS techniques.
