Job brief:
This role is critical to lead the development of comprehensive and complex Accounting & Finance workflow solutions with overall accountability for the technical design, development, and delivery of The Weather Company (TWC) ERP native and custom workflow solutions, reports, and integrations. This role supports the continued availability and evolving use of the TWC ERP business systems used by our internal users and experienced by consumers.
The accounting and finance systems provide relevant automation capability to help bring required efficiency and control to critical business processes germane to TWC’s current and ERP goals and objectives. The Sr. ERP Platform Engineer provides a level of transparency, governance, day-to-day guidance, and technical support across all current and future engineering work streams that drive critical capability to our accounting and finance stakeholders, users, and consumers.
This role will be responsible for implementing high-quality, scalable solutions on the NetSuite (ERP/WMS) platform following best practices, including configuration and code, implementing complex integrations across TWC's front and back office systems using middleware app (Boomi) and marketplace APIs, and deploying solutions and code using automated deployment tools. This role will take ownership of technical deliverables, ensure production-grade quality work that is fully tested, delivered on time, within budget, and exceed stakeholder expectations in accordance with the agile Dev Shop practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements, mentor and support other business app admins, as needed, and support and maintain our environment. This role is part advanced platform administrator, part developer, and part technical solutions architect.
