Vitalant is seeking a Sr. ERP Developer – Workday to serve as an internal technical expert for Workday applications, collaborating with cross-functional partners to design solutions and implement process improvements.

You will develop, troubleshoot, and document integrations, reports, and analytics to support Vitalant's mission. The role supports Workday configuration, release management, and end-user guidance, with compensation ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building Workday integrations with EIB, Studio, and Cloud Connectors.
• Strong knowledge of Workday security models and integration architecture.
• Experience with Workday Extend and REST/SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with EDI formats and middleware platforms like Dell Boomi or Jitterbit.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday modules, configurations, and customizations, ensuring system performance and data integrity.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that support business needs and enterprise objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday integrations, reports, dashboards, and analytics using EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, and Workday Studio.
• Monitor integration performance, resolve technical issues, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Workday functionality and streamline processes.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to design solutions, implement process improvements, troubleshoot complex issues, and assess enterprise-wide impacts. Through application development, release management, root cause analysis, end-user support, and technical documentation, you’ll help ensure our Workday solutions evolve to meet business needs and advance Vitalant’s mission.

You’ll get to:

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday modules, configurations, and customizations, ensuring system performance, data accuracy, security, and integrity.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver solutions that support business needs and enterprise objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday integrations, reports, dashboards, and analytics using EIB, Core and Cloud Connectors, Web Services, Workday Studio, and other Workday tools.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Workday functionality, streamline processes, and support evolving business requirements.
• Plan and execute testing for configurations, integrations, and deployments to ensure solution quality and successful implementation.
• Conduct regular audits and maintain compliance with data security, privacy policies, internal procedures, external regulations, and Workday best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and share development best practices with developers, functional analysts, and other team members.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, workflows, and integrations.
• Coordinate with internal support teams and external vendors to resolve critical issues promptly and deliver quality customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Deep understanding of ERP systems, preferably Workday, including integration architecture, security models, and advanced development tools.
• Knowledge of automated applications systems, system development life cycle, and project management principles required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Workday Developer or Integration Certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building integrations within the Workday ecosystem using cloud connectors, EIB, and Workday Studio required.
• Strong experience with Workday Integration toolset -Studio, EIB document transformation, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, PECI, Report Writer, BIRT, RaaS, XML & XSLT, Web Services, REST & SOAP API required.
• Experience with developing applications using Workday Extend required.
• Understanding of Workday business processes framework, and Workday domain security required.
• Experience working with various document transfer formats such as EDI preferred.
• Experience working with Workday Prism preferred.
• Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, or similar) preferred
