Job summary

Wedbush Securities seeks a Senior Analyst for the Semiconductor Equity Research team, focusing on Capital Equipment & Test. You will own and shape detailed earnings and valuation models, deliver industry views, and write research that informs large institutional decisions.

This role offers high visibility within a top-ranked research franchise. The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in the sector, strong financial modeling and accounting skills, and FINRA licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/MS or CFA a plus.
• 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience in networking or optical hardware.
• Active FINRA Series 86 and 87 licenses required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to publish research to institutional audiences.
• High fluency in accounting and financial statement analysis.
• Superior financial modeling skills with self-auditing discipline.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain detailed earnings and valuation models across capital equipment and test universe.
• Analyze industry trends and translate into differentiated investment conclusions.
• Produce weekly and monthly written research publications for institutional investors and desks.
• Develop marketing materials and present views to clients and sales teams.
• Build relationships with company management and industry contacts.
• Communicate stock views and themes to institutional investors and trading desks.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to coverage strategy.
• Perform other tasks as required.
