Job summary

Jefferies seeks an associate for its Semiconductor/Semiconductor Capital Equipment Equity Research team. You will support writing extensive company and industry research, build detailed financial models, and market research to clients and institutional salespeople.

Responsibilities include creating earnings models, writing industry publications, and attending events to discuss stock views. The role requires strong analytics, communication skills, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
• Superior financial statement modeling skills with self-auditing abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• 1–2 yrs of related experience a plus.
• Undergraduate background in finance/accounting; CPAs excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain earnings and valuation models.
• Write research publications on industry trends and stock recommendations.
• Analyze industry trends and compile findings.
• Produce marketing materials for clients.
• Attend company events, industry conferences, and trade shows.
• Develop relationships with management teams and industry contacts.
• Communicate stock views and industry themes to investors and desks.
