The City of Fort Worth is hiring a Sr. Equipment Operator for the Stormwater Operations Division. The role involves operating a range of heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting vegetation maintenance tasks.
Ideal candidates have 3 years of motorized equipment experience, a valid Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement, and the ability to work after hours during weather events and emergencies. On-site work with after-hours call-backs.
Pay Range: $26.58 - $28.62/hr.

This position may qualify for a $2,000 Sign-On Incentive: 50% paid on the completion of first pay period, 50% paid after 6 months of employment.
Monday - Thursday 7 AM - 5:30 PM or Tuesday - Friday 7 AM - 5:30 PM. Some evening/weekend work required.
This position is a first responder in severe weather conditions/emergencies and will be subject to work after hours, emergency call back hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and will participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

A Sr. Equipment Operator position is available with The City of Fort Worth's Transportation and Public Works Streets and Stormwater Operations Division (Vegetation Maintenance Program).
The department is seeking to hire a Sr. Equipment Operator with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and to join our dedicated team for the critical task of stormwater asset maintenance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our stormwater infrastructure, ensuring the efficient flow of water, and preventing potential hazards. As a member of the team, the ideal candidate will work four (4) ten-hour work days and will be subject to emergency call-back. Emergency call-back could be after hours, on weekends, on holidays, and/or during weather events. You will be required to work outdoors, during inclement weather, around moving traffic/equipment, in and around water, and overgrown vegetation.
