Sr. Enterprise AI Developer
Hybrid position requiring onsite work at the Legacy West Support Center in Plano, Texas.
About the Role
The Senior Enterprise AI Developer is a hands‑on technical role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering AI‑enabled solutions that drive measurable business value. The role focuses on transforming approved use cases into secure, scalable, and production‑ready applications across the enterprise.
Working closely with architecture, security, data, and business teams, the developer ensures AI solutions are practical, reusable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI‑powered applications, assistants, agents, automations, and integrations
- Translate business needs into functional prototypes, pilots, and enterprise‑grade solutions
- Build and maintain reusable AI components and patterns (e.g., RAG, prompt templates, embeddings, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, guardrails)
- Integrate solutions with enterprise data sources, APIs, document repositories, and cloud platforms
- Partner with AI architecture and governance teams to ensure adherence to approved design patterns and avoid one‑off solutions
- Own the end‑to‑end AI delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, observability, and support
- Evaluate use cases to determine optimal solution approach (build, buy, vendor, or non‑AI alternative)
- Monitor and optimize solutions for performance, reliability, cost, and user adoption
- Troubleshoot issues related to model outputs, data quality, integrations, latency, and user experience
- Produce clear technical documentation to enable reuse, support, and long‑term maintainability
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and recommend practical, value‑driven improvements
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience in software development and application engineering
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#)
- Experience building APIs, integrations, enterprise applications, or automation workflows
- Hands‑on experience with modern AI/ML patterns, including:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Embeddings and vector search
- Agents, prompt design, and model evaluation
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployment practices
- Ability to integrate with structured and unstructured data sources
- Understanding of security best practices (identity, access control, secrets management, data protection)
- Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and practical decision‑making ability
- Effective communication skills across both technical and business audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms and tools (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Power BI)
- Familiarity with vector databases, document intelligence, enterprise search, and AI orchestration frameworks
- Experience with AI evaluation frameworks, observability, cost management, and prompt/version control
- Background developing internal enterprise tools or workflow automation solutions
- Experience in retail, e‑commerce, supply chain, merchandising, finance, or customer operations
- Familiarity with compliance, privacy, and enterprise data governance requirements

Working Conditions
The role is hybrid, with required onsite presence at the corporate office on specified days. The work environment involves everyday office‑related risks and general safety precautions such as use of office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations. Work is largely sedentary but may require occasional walking, standing, bending, and moving small hardware for testing.
