Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Engineer focused on Testing & Quality Assurance. You will define and execute test cases for web and mobile apps, analyze results, and provide user-focused insights to improve client-side experiences.

You’ll mature regression processes, design detailed test plans, and contribute within an Agile delivery team to ensure smooth releases and on-call production support. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute test cases for web/mobile applications based on software requirements and technical specifications
• Record and analyze test results, comparing them against expected outcomes to ensure high quality
• Provide insights from a user's perspective to improve the client-side experience
• Enhance and mature regression testing processes, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficiency
• Design and document detailed test plans for various projects
• Participate actively in an Agile development environment, contributing to daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Lead QA efforts for application releases, ensuring smooth transitions to production
• Be available to address critical production issues, including after-hours support when necessary
• Manual testing proficiency (creating/executing test scripts, documenting defects, setting up test data)
• Experienced with API endpoint testing and tools (Postman, Swagger)
• Experienced with e-Commerce applications (web and mobile)
• Accustomed to working on Agile delivery teams
• Excellent communication and organization skills
