Farnsworth Group is seeking a Senior Engineer - Oil & Gas. This remote-based role is open to candidates outside existing Farnsworth Group locations. Candidates will experience a fast-paced, high-demand work environment, managing multiple projects for various clients and coordinating efforts across disciplines.
Job Duties include:
- Provide technical leadership and project management on projects involving natural gas and liquid petroleum, including pipelines and facilities.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitability.
- Support large/complex projects as part of an engineering team.
- Develop projects from conceptual design through final design.
- Assist in proposal efforts, working with disciplines and subcontractors for scope and pricing.
- Maintain and expand relationships with current clients and pursue new business opportunities.
Specific Requirements include:
- BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 10+ years in an engineering role within the oil, natural gas, or similar industry.
- At least 5 years managing projects, with a solid understanding of project management tools and practices.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret DOT, API, ANSI, ASME standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
- Willingness to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.
Desired Qualifications:
- PE license is a plus.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with pipeline pump stations and natural gas compressor stations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Leadership and supervisory experience are advantageous.
