PJM Interconnection is seeking a Stability Engineer to perform reliability and dynamic stability analyses for New Services development. The role involves contributing to System Impact Studies, studying transmission reinforcements, and supporting base-case model preparation.
Responsibilities include coordinating with PJM contractors, preparing technical reports, and assisting with planning method enhancements while ensuring compliance with NERC/IEEE standards. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

The Stability Engineer will perform reliability analysis in support of the development of the New Services Requests in the PJM Interconnection Process.The PJM Interconnection Process involves the study of various types of New Services requests which are submitted by Project Developers and Eligible Customers.The proposed interconnections are evaluated by the Interconnection Analysis (IA) Interconnection Planning Analysis group for compliance with NERC and RFC standards as well as PJM and Transmission Owner planning principles. The Engineer will also engage in a variety of other adequacy and reliability assessments that support the planning function and the main goals and objectives of the IA department.
