Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a seasoned Solutions Consulting & Engineering professional to lead post-sales delivery, design robust architectures, and guide customers through installation, configuration, and optimization.

The role requires broad tech knowledge, strong design and troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to travel up to 75% to support commercial enterprise clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on technical knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery planning, design, implementation & optimization services as a post sales consultant to WWT's Commercial Enterprise clients.

Creates Low-Level and High-Level designs utilizing industry best practices

Leads the delivery of solutions.

Oversees/performs new and existing equipment, hardware, and software.

Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer managed hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

Monitors performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.

Conducts research on products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the industry.

• Travel: Up to 75%

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of working technical knowledge of technology practices.
• Strong knowledge designing, implementing, migrating and troubleshooting.
• Certifications at Professional or Expert level preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with multiple technology disciplines is a plus.

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communicationskills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment

• Able to conduct research into issues and products as required
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level is required; an active Top Secret clearance is strongly preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance for the duration of employment.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying and operating Comply to Connect (C2C) solutions, including endpoint compliance, posture assessment, device visibility and network access enforcement for secure environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), including policy design, 802.1X and MAB authentication, profiling, posture, TrustSec segmentation and integration with the broader security and network stack.
• Proven experience navigating the Department of War ecosystem, including familiarity with its mission environments, cybersecurity and network access requirements, acquisition and contracting vehicles, and stakeholder organizations.
• Ability to translate DoW policy, compliance and security requirements into practical, well-documented technical designs and to communicate effectively with government customers and program stakeholders.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $145,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in thebasepay.
