Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Sr. Engineer for a 6-12 month contract with a hybrid work model blending on-site collaboration and remote work. You will collaborate with leaders, analysts, PMs, IT architects, and developers to deliver enterprise applications.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, Java/J2EE, Angular/Ext JS, and cloud-native platforms, with a focus on security and scalable growth for our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of SDLC experience designing and implementing large-scale applications.
• Experience in full stack development and modern Java/J2EE stack.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance enterprise services and platforms using domain-driven design and TDD.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement reliable fixes.
• Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve security and performance.
• Support coding standards and best practices, including security guidelines.
• Work with architects and leads to ensure scalable long-term solutions.

Title: Sr. Engineer

Location: Hybrid Fort Worth, TX

Duration: 6-12 month contract

What You will Do

• Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements.
• Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development.
• Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions.
• Creates detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates.
• Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance.
• Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines.
• Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.

Top Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 5 - 7 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
• Experience in Full Stack Development
• 5 - 7 years of demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
• • J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB
  • Front-end: Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, jQuery, AJAX
  • Cloud-based development: Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes
