Job summary

Magna International, a leading automotive supplier, is seeking a Quality Engineering leader to drive robust quality systems and support launch activities within Cosma International. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality standards, guiding audits, and resolving complex issues across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering background, ASQ CQE or Six Sigma belt, and substantial stamping and welding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt highly preferred.
• Significant experience in metal stamping (tandem, progressive, or transfer presses).
• Deep knowledge of welding processes (RSW, MIG/MAG, or Laser Welding).

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is highly preferred.
• Significant experience in metal stamping (tandem, progressive, or transfer presses).
• Deep knowledge of welding processes (Resistance Spot Welding, MIG/MAG, or Laser Welding)

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership position including leading new launches and program teams
• Minimum 7 years in a Quality Engineering position supporting new launches and program teams
• Ability to work in a confidential and professional manner
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and have Strong organizational skills
• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Minitab
