Qualifications

  • 8+ years of interview experience and evidence gathering.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Empathy, discretion, and emotional intelligence for sensitive situations.
  • Prior HR experience preferred.
  • Ability to assess complex situations and propose timely solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in mediating disputes for equitable resolutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Sr. Employee Relations Manager with experience in planning and conducting impartial workplace investigations. This role involves strategic partnership with HR, legal, and leadership to manage risk, provide consultation on complex cases, analyze investigation data to identify trends, and develop proactive strategies to improve organizational health.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead impartial, fact-based investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, policy violations, and other workplace issues.
  • Manage a caseload of sensitive issues, ensuring investigations are conducted efficiently and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Design and execute investigative plans, conduct interviews, analyze evidence, and document findings in clear, comprehensive, and professional investigation reports.
  • Ensure all investigations and employee relations matters comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to HR business partners, managers, and leadership on complex employee relations issues, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
  • Utilize case management systems to track and analyze investigation data, identify recurring issues, and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Partner closely with Legal, HR, and Ethics & Compliance teams to manage escalated risks and ensure consistency in handling sensitive matters.
  • Analyze workforce data and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for early issue resolution and improvements in organizational health.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth interviews, gather evidence, and make objective findings.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • High levels of empathy, discretion, and emotional intelligence to handle sensitive situations with care and build trust with employees at all levels.
  • Prior HR experience preferred
  • Ability to critically assess complex situations, synthesize information, and develop effective and timely solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare clear reports, provide updates, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in mediating disputes and finding equitable resolutions that maintain trust and respect.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Salary Range

$110,000 - $160,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
