Job summary

DNOW is seeking an experienced Electrician to install conduit systems, cable trays, and heat tracing, read electrical drawings, and conduct testing and troubleshooting. The role requires collaboration with project teams to ensure safe and compliant completion according to electrical codes and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, installing and testing electrical systems, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as industrial/commercial electrician with conduit bending, cable tray installation and heat tracing.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of NEC and relevant industry standards.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install and route conduit systems (EMT, RMC, PVC, and flexible) per codes.
• Fabricate and mount cable tray systems with proper alignment and load capacity.
• Install heat tracing systems for freeze protection and process temperature maintenance, including insulation and control integration.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and drawings to plan installations.
• Perform terminations, testing, and troubleshooting for electrical systems to ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per OSHA and company policies.

The Electrician will be responsible for installing conduit systems, cable trays, and heat tracing systems, interpreting electrical drawings, and performing testing and troubleshooting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician, with a strong background in conduit bending, cable tray installation, and heat tracing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and conduit bending equipment.
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and relevant industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Current electrician's license or journeyman certification preferred not necessary.
