DistributionNOW seeks a Sr. I&E Technician to install, route, and verify instrumentation tubing systems in our industrial environments. You will collaborate with project teams, read P&IDs, and ensure adherence to engineering specs and safety standards while maintaining precise documentation.

The successful candidate will perform bending, flaring, and swaging with manual and hydraulic tools, connect tubing to transmitters and valves, and conduct leak testing to verify system integrity.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in I&E tubing installation in oil & gas, petrochemical, or related fields.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and isometrics.
• Proficiency with tubing tools (benders, cutters, flaring tools, swaging equipment).
• Commitment to safety, quality, and precision in every task.
• Capable of working independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Install, route, and secure stainless steel and other tubing for instrumentation and electrical systems according to P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Perform precision bending, flaring, and swaging using manual and hydraulic tools.
• Terminate and connect tubing to transmitters, gauges, valves, and other field devices.
• Conduct leak testing, flushing, and system verification to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with electricians, instrument fitters, and engineers to coordinate installation schedules and resolve field challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including redlining drawings and updating as-builts.
• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and confined space procedures.

Job Requirements

• Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and isometric drawings.
• Proficiency with tubing tools such as benders, cutters, flaring tools, and swaging equipment.
• Knowledge of industry standards (ISA, API, ASTM) and best practices for tubing installation.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and precision in every task.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments.
