Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Estimator to support large-scale industrial EPC and data center construction projects in Houston.

This on-site role partners with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates and manage bid packages. Candidates should have strong electrical estimating background, ability to interpret drawings, perform takeoffs, evaluate subcontractor quotes, and travel nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience within industrial, commercial, EPC, or mission-critical construction.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and construction labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, Accubid, or similar estimating software preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, not required.
• Data center construction experience is a plus, not required.
• Ability to work independently and travel nationwide as needed.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.

Sr. Electrical Estimator – Industrial EPC & Data Center Construction

Location: Houston, TX

Fully onsite. 40-45 hours week M - F.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex electrical construction projects nationwide, collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop accurate and competitive estimates.

Prior data center experience is not required. We are interested in electrical estimators with strong technical construction backgrounds who can bring their expertise to this growing sector.
