Job summary

LeoForce in New Orleans is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer with PE license to lead design/build and renovation projects across healthcare, commercial, education and government sectors.

You will oversee planning, design, production, quality control and financials, provide technical leadership, mentor staff, coordinate team activities, and ensure schedules and profits while delivering high-quality electrical systems for complex projects.

Qualifications

• PE Licensed required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited).
• 6-10+ years of experience Designing and Managing Electrical/MEP Projects for Engineering Consulting or Design/Build environment.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer Designing Power and Lighting Building Systems on complex projects.
• Project experience delivering New Construction and/or Renovation Projects for Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Government, Transportation, etc.
• Proficient in Revit & AutoCAD Software.
• Construction Costs and Life Cycle Analysis; Experience Managing Moderate to Complex Projects.
• Ability to schedule and manage tasks for the electrical discipline.
• Demonstrated success in technical / formal communication with clients and staff; proven ability to represent the electrical discipline at meetings.
• Ability to mentor junior level staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Local Building Codes & Standards.
• Strong technical leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

Senior Electrical Engineer PE - (Commercial Projects) Hybrid

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Team. Must have experience delivering Design/Build and Renovation Projects ideally for Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Government, Transportation, etc. Required Engineering Consulting experience managing multiple projects at various stages, including all planning, design, production, quality control and financial responsibilities. This person will provide technical leadership, mentoring & guidance to team members to assure total quality of all engineering efforts; Coordinates the activities of all team members and assures production meets schedules while producing a reasonable profit.
