The role involves taking products from prototype to series production, designing and developing new technology in power distribution, test equipment, backup power, and energy storage. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams
• Design, prototype, and develop products like loadbanks, switchgear, transfer switches, and more
• Design wiring schematics and specify equipment for power systems
• Create and review diagrams, layouts, and BOMs
• Define testing plans for new products
• Lead electrical design in product development, including component selection and electromagnetic compatibility

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in AC electrical system product design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, EPlan, etc.
• Experience with power distribution product specifications
• Ability to produce detailed technical documentation
• Knowledge of safe testing practices
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with electrical component selection and validation
