Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electronics Engineer to help drive innovation across our lighting and industrial product platforms.

You will independently design electronics hardware, advance PCB layouts, and guide component selection to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Management to bring new technologies from concept to commercialization, with exposure to Altium Designer, SPICE, and embedded firmware work in a hybrid on-site role

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong hardware design experience.
• PCB layout expertise with industry tools.
• Experience with SPICE simulations.
• Proven product development experience.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience independently designing electronics hardware.
• Strong experience with PCB design and layout.
• Demonstrated expertise in electronic component selection, circuit analysis, and SPICE simulation.
• Recent product development experience involving electronic hardware design.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Altium Designer.
• Experience developing products for the lighting and/or LED industry.
• Experience with firmware development or embedded systems programming.
• Familiarity with embedded hardware and software integration.
• Experience taking products from concept through development and commercialization.

The range for this position is [[salaryMin]] to $120,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
