Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for a hybrid role in the Chattanooga area.

The candidate will serve as project lead on major and several moderate projects, developing electrical designs and drawings, and coordinating with clients and team members on complex features. Responsibilities include conducting electrical calculations (voltage drop, short circuit, arc flash, relay settings), and preparing specifications for transformers, switchgear, MCCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• PE License required.

Responsibilities

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - HYBRID - REVIT - P.E. - URGENT NEED!

• Serve as Project Lead on a major project and/or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.
• Develop electrical design documents and drawings.
• Analyze and approve the work of others. Monitor the work performed by the team.
• Conceptual and detailed design of low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, PLC/PAC, HMI’s process equipment and instrumentation.
• Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and others.
• Lead project meetings and make presentations.
• Perform typical electrical calculations including but not limited to voltage drop, short circuit, coordination studies, arch flash, relay settings, conduit fill, lighting, and grounding.
• Develop specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in power, energy, oil and gas or other industrial process industries.
• Experience developing one-line drawings,control schematics and wiring diagrams,electrical equipment specifications, power plans,conduit plans, cable schedules,etc.
• Working knowledge of technical Codes and Standards: NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC, etc.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT or other design software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited college is required.
• PE License required.
• Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.
