Job summary

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in power/industrial sectors, a PE license, and an ABET-accredited degree. Proficiency with AutoCAD/REVIT and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in power/industrial sectors.
• Ability to develop one-line drawings, control schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC standards.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and REVIT.
• ABET-accredited B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license required.
• U.S. citizenship required for client projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Lead on a major project and/or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.
• Develop electrical design documents and drawings.
• Analyze and approve the work of others; monitor team performance.
• Conceptual and detailed design of low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control, PLC/PAC, HMI’s process equipment and instrumentation.
• Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and others.
• Lead project meetings and make presentations.
• Perform calculations including voltage drop, short circuit, coordination studies, arc flash, relay settings, conduit fill, lighting, grounding.
• Develop specifications and datasheets for transformers, switchgear, MCCs.

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - HYBRID - REVIT - P.E. - URGENT NEED!

• Serve as Project Lead on a major project and/or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.
• Develop electrical design documents and drawings.
• Analyze and approve the work of others. Monitor the work performed by the team.
• Conceptual and detailed design of low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, PLC/PAC, HMI’s process equipment and instrumentation.
• Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and others.
• Lead project meetings and make presentations.
• Perform typical electrical calculations including but not limited to voltage drop, short circuit, coordination studies, arch flash, relay settings, conduit fill, lighting, and grounding.
• Develop specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in power, energy, oil and gas or other industrial process industries.
• Experience developing one-line drawings,control schematics and wiring diagrams,electrical equipment specifications, power plans,conduit plans, cable schedules,etc.
• Working knowledge of technical Codes and Standards: NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC, etc.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT or other design software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited college is required.
• PE License required.
• Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.
