Job summary

TecTammina is seeking a skilled engineer in Allentown, United States to lead solutions in HV power distribution and improve equipment reliability. You will collaborate with project engineers and field personnel to address performance issues.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering, over 5 years of experience in industrial settings, and expertise in high voltage equipment. Preferred qualifications include a PE license and skills in power system analysis.

Qualifications

• Work with project engineers and field personnel on HV power distribution equipment.

Job description

Be responsible for working with project engineers and field personnel on HV power distribution equipment, motors and generators

Be the technical lead on developing solutions to equipment performance issues

Direct third party vendors on the repair of all high voltage equipment

Develop long term electrical equipment reliability improvement by identifying recurring issues and developing engineered solutions such as predictive and preventative maintenance programs

Develop and participate in failure analysis studies to identify root cause of system malfunction

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering (MS a plus)

5+ years working in large industrial facilities

A PE license is also a major plus

Knowledge of high voltage substation equipment, transformers, control circuits and variable frequency drives is also required

Ability to perform power system analysis calculations such as load flow, arc flash, short circuit and motor starting/voltage drop is also required.
