What's the Job?
- Own electrical design tasks across the full product lifecycle, including board design, component selection, layout review, board bring-up, system test, and root-cause analysis.
- Design and verify electrical functions such as analog sensor signal conditioning and processing, motor and actuator control, embedded digital electronics, power regulation, and monitoring/control across spacecraft interfaces.
- Support high-quality, innovative board-level electrical designs by reviewing and improving electrical schematics and layouts in collaboration with other engineers.
- Perform hands-on laboratory testing, analyze results, and document design decisions, findings, and test outcomes for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate regularly with hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, systems, and integration teams to drive design verification, qualification, and issue resolution.
What's Needed?
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware development across multiple phases of the product life cycle in areas such as consumer electronics, power electronics, robotics, aerospace, automotive, communications, or a combination thereof.
- Open to candidateswith experience in any combination of power, analog, or mixed-signal domains.
- Demonstrated technical depth in board-level electrical hardware design, including experience across precision analog/sensor electronics, embedded digital systems, high-speed interfaces, motor/actuator control, memory, or power regulation.
- Experience with PCB design, board bring-up, and debugging using tools and lab equipment, including oscilloscopes and common electrical test instruments.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB-layout ECAD tools, plus familiarity with complex board designs involving high-speed interconnects, high-reliability electronics, power regulation, or motor/actuator-control electronics.
