Job summary

enVista, LLC is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, build, and commission innovative automation solutions across material handling, conveying, and robotics environments. You will lead PLC and HMI development, coordinate procurement, and support field installation, testing, and startup at a hybrid Willowbrook-based office.

The role requires a BSEE or related field, 4+ years of controls experience, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant controls engineering experience.
• PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley required; Beckhoff or Siemens a plus).
• HMI development experience (Allen-Bradley required; Beckhoff or Ignition a plus).
• AutoCAD experience with electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Experience in material handling environments (conveyors, robotics).
• Barcode scanning systems experience (Cognex a plus).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Individuals will work a hybrid schedule based in Willowbrook office.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At enVista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $120,000.
