Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based leader to guide a regional team of Clinical Account Executives across the Southwest, including Denver. You will shape strategies, elevate performance, and ensure compliant promotion while developing talent and aligning accounts around priorities.

You will manage budgets, build cross-functional collaboration, and lead with a focus on oncology leadership and patient outcomes in hematology/oncology markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7+ years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Oncology experience required, preferably in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
• Proven track record of delivering top results.
• Demonstrates leadership and the ability to inspire teams.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to coach and develop CAEs with clear expectations and feedback.

Job Description

*This role is field-basedand candidates should live within the territory. This territory includes Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Las Vegas NV, Denver CO and the surrounding areas.*

Lead a team of Clinical Account Executives (CAEs) across the Southwest region to shape and execute strategies that enhance AbbVie's leadership in Multiple Myeloma through exceptional customer engagement, key account management, and compliant promotional execution. This leader creates clarity, builds belief, develops people, and inspires purposeful execution that delivers lasting business results. Success requires the ability to elevate others, navigate change, and foster a culture where high performance and accountability are the standard.

Responsibilities:

• Develop people to maximize their unique strengths through coaching, feedback, and career development

• Serve team as an expert in product knowledge and a deep understanding of disease state and the evolving hematology/oncology marketplace.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years of experience within pharma/biotech
• Oncology experience required, preferably in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies

• Driving a personal auto or company car or truck.
• Valid driver’s license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.

Preferred but not required

• MBA or other advanced degree
