Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Sr. Distribution Manager in Olive Branch, MS, to oversee safety, productivity, and quality in a high-volume distribution center. You will lead supervisors and hundreds of hourly staff, ensure on-time shipping via truckload, LTL, and parcel, and drive Lean-based improvements across inbound, outbound, and cycle counting.

You will build capabilities, mentor leaders, and coordinate cross-functional resources while meeting safety and operational goals for a large customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related field, required.
• 5+ years leading distribution teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of distribution principles, WMS, and automation systems.
• Experience applying Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen) and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors and managers across inbound, picking, outbound, and cycle counting.
• Ensure on-time shipments, fill rate, and accuracy for multiple product flows.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement and cost-saving projects with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare reports and statistics on shipments, safety, and performance.
• Provide mentorship and develop leadership capability among supervisors and hourly staff.

Sr. Distribution ManagerLocation, MS: Olive Branch, MSJob Description:The Sr. Distribution Manager is responsible for safety, productivity and quality in a multi-site, high-volume distribution center. Ensures operations meets on-time shipping requirements for a large customer base via truckload, LTL and parcel shipments.
