Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Distribution Manager to oversee safety, productivity and quality across a multi-site distribution network. You will drive on-time shipping for a broad customer base via truckload, LTL and parcel, while leading supervisors and hundreds of hourly staff.

Responsibilities include cost-reduction projects, cross-functional coordination, and mentoring leaders in lean tools and process design. Strong analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; Quality Management; or Production & Operations Management.
• 5+ years leading distribution teams.
• Knowledge of distribution principles, WMS, and Automation Systems.
• Lean principles: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Communication Tools, Problem Solving.
• Strong organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in an automated distribution center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, productivity and quality in a multi-site, high-volume distribution center.
• Ensure on-time shipping for truckload, LTL and parcel shipments.
• Manage a team of supervisors and hundreds of hourly employees across multiple facilities.
• Develop and manage cost-saving and continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare reports on on-time shipments, fill rate, shipment accuracy and safety.
