Ladders is seeking a Sr. Director, User Experience to shape the UX vision for AI-powered products that deliver intuitive, trusted, and engaging experiences. The role will guide design strategy across complex, data-rich offerings while partnering with product management and engineering to align user needs with business goals.

As a senior design leader, this person will influence executive stakeholders, strengthen design operations, and support a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in product design, including 6+ years in leadership roles overseeing design teams in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to lead multiple design teams and manage complex, data-heavy products.
• Strong understanding of AI-powered and agentic design experiences.
• Experience building design operations and scalable processes.
• Ability to manage and lead distributed, global teams across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with design systems, accessibility, and localization best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, User Experience to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This leader will shape the UX vision for AI-powered products that deliver intuitive, trusted, and engaging experiences. The role will guide design strategy across complex, data-rich offerings while partnering closely with product management and engineering to align user needs with business goals. As a senior design leader, this person will also influence executive stakeholders, strengthen design operations, and support a globally distributed team.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $253,000 – $279,000 annually
