Sr. Director, Technical Program Management (Associate Experience Tech)

Our Program Delivery Office (PDO) team within Associate Experience Technology seeks a dynamic Senior Director of Technical Program Management to drive key strategic programs, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and expand the TPM discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical programs that deliver business or technical vision, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to secure commitments and unblock teams to deliver impact.
- Pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline, leveraging industry knowledge to mentor and grow the TPM practice.
- Conduct technology‑focused discussions with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations that guide technology‑based decisions.
- Simplify technical complexity to drive well‑educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives.
- Maintain deep focus on execution, follow‑through, accountability, and results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; exceptional problem‑solving and influencing skills.
- Quantitative approach to problem solving and a collaborative implementer of holistic solutions; a systems thinker.
- Exceptional cross‑team collaboration, working across different functions and reporting boundaries to get the job done.
- Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listening ability, and deep seated empathy for teams and partners.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing.
- 5+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture – preferably using AWS.
- 5+ years of experience building and leading an experienced TPM team.
- 5+ years of experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery.
- 5+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs, owning the business or technical vision and collaborating with large cross‑functional teams to secure commitments and unblock teams.
- Experience building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).
- MBA or Master’s Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
