About the Team

As a Sr. Director of TPM on Capital One’s Enterprise product & platform organization, you will help build solid platforms on mobile and web surfaces to deliver incredible customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex technical programs across platforms and services.
• Build and lead a world‑class team of technical program managers.
• Drive technology focused discussions with senior leadership.
• Communicate and collaborate across product, engineering, design, and data science.
• Execute projects with deep focus on accountability and results.
• Manage cross‑team collaboration across functions and reporting boundaries.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background building scalable platforms, products, or services.
• Proactive identification and mitigation of technical risks.
• 9+ years of experience in technical program management.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, problem solving, and influencing skills.
• Quantitative approach to problem solving and a systems thinker.
• Experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Agile delivery.
• Experience in highly regulated environment.
• ML experience is preferred (design, building, and deploying models).

Preferred Qualifications

• 9+ years designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing.
• At least 2 years with full ML development lifecycle.
• 5+ years building distributed systems & mobile products & platforms.
• ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, open source contributions, or patents.
• Master’s/MBA a plus.
